Terms & Conditions

Even though we have yet to have any sort of dispute and pride ourselves on being very customer focused and flexible offering a small but personal service we thought it prudent to clarify the terms and conditions of our website and Wedding Car Services.

The information contained in this website is for information only. Spirit Wedding Cars does not make any warranty or representation as to the accuracy or fitness for purpose of any material on this website or the reliability of the access to this website.

In no event do we accept liability of any description, including liability for negligence (except for personal injury or death), for any damages or losses (including, without limitation, loss of business, revenue, profits or consequential loss) whatsoever resulting from use of or inability to use this website. Spirit Wedding Cars makes no warranty that this website (or websites which are linked to this website) is free from computer viruses or any other malicious or impairing computer program.

Each car will be fully cleaned and valeted prior to leaving our premises and travelling to the pick-up address. Though we will use any available spare time prior to departing for the wedding venue to clean off the worst of the fresh dirt, we cannot guarantee that the car will be 100% perfectly clean if the distance travelled from our premises is great, the weather bad or the road mucky or wet.

The deposit is non-refundable.

Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been cleared.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you are contracting with us as a consumer, online, by phone, at a wedding fayre or any other venue other than our office you have the right to cancel your contract at any time up to 14 calendar days after the day on which you ordered our services. Should you wish to cancel your order you must do so by email to: spiritweddingcars@hotmail.co.uk or by letter to: Spirit Wedding Cars, 41 Merton Drive, Weston Village, Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset BS24 7EQ, quoting your reference number.

It is the responsibility of the client to verify that the published details, dates, times and addresses are correct on the Sales Booking Form. The booking will be accepted based on the times and itinerary stated.

Cancellations must be received in writing no later than 1 calendar month prior to the hire date. The full outstanding balance is payable if a cancellation is received within 1 calendar month of the hire date.

In the unlikely event that we are unable to use the booked car for reasons beyond our control, an alternative car will be used. Any cost difference will be refunded.

Every care is taken to maintain vehicles in first class condition, but in the unlikely event that the car booked is unable to complete the engagement owing to mechanical failure, accident or any other cause whatsoever, then whilst we will endeavour to provide a satisfactory alternative and / or agree a financial settlement. No liability will be accepted by us for any consequential loss.

In the unlikely event that a car breaks down on the day, depending on timing etc we would attempt to get another Wedding Car to the location as soon as possible and then offer you a refund if you felt unhappy about the situation or our efforts to resolve the problem. The amount refunded will not exceed the value of the booking for that particular car.

Although we will endeavour to meet deadlines we accept no responsibility for any delays, however caused.

No responsibility will be accepted for restrictions relating to vehicle access at any location.

In the event of any inclement weather we hold no responsibility for any damages caused by this.

The driver may refuse to transport passengers or luggage if the vehicle is overloaded.

The client is responsible for the conduct of all passengers.

The driver may terminate the booking if the client or passengers cause excessive delays are disorderly or, in the drivers' judgement are unfit to travel.

Spirit Wedding Cars operate a strict no smoking policy in all the cars.

The Chauffeurs will be dressed in white collared shirt, tie, suit and Chauffeurs hat.

Although several of our cars have large boots, we find it advisable to let friends or family transport your luggage and belongings to the wedding venue, in the event you do use your chosen wedding car, it will be your responsibility for remembering these items of luggage. Spirit Wedding Cars will not be liable for any damages or left luggage.

As a private hire company we are exempt from the Child Car Seat Regulations, however, we encourage clients to provide (& fit) their own child seats and booster seats for their children's safety and the clients own piece of mind.

Spirit Wedding Cars respects your right to privacy. Spirit Wedding Cars will not sell or otherwise give away your private information to any third party company unless we receive permission from the person providing personal details.

Bookings are accepted only on the understanding that the client understands and accepts the above terms and conditions of contract and payment of the deposit signifies such acceptance.
